Magnetic Lock Kit Wiring Instructions

This video shows detailed instructions on how to wire a magnetic lock
access control kit. Included in the magnetic lock kit is: magnetic lock,
push to exit button, keypad, magnetic lock motion detector, magnetic
lock receiver and remote control transmitter.

1. On the transformer identify the positive and negative wires.
o Note: the positive side has dashes along the wire.

2. On the receiver cable harness identify:
o Positive= red wire
o Negative = black wire
o Common = yellow wire
o Normally close = blue wire

3. Connect the positive from the receiver to the positive from the transformer

4. Connect the negative from the transformer to the negative from the receiver

5. Connect the common from the receiver to the negative wires you have just connected

6. You should have the normally close wire from the receiver free. Now connect the harness to the receiver.

7. You must program the receiver and transmitters by matching the sequence of the dip switches.

8. On the motion sensor cable harness identify:
o Positive= red wire
o Negative= black wire
o Common=yellow wire
o Normally close= blue wire

9. Connect the positive from the motion sensor to the positive from the transformer.

10. Connect the negative from the motion sensor to the negative from the transformer.

11. Connect the normally close wires from both the receiver and the motion sensor.

12. You should have the common from the motion sensor free.

13. Connect the cable harness to the motion sensor.

14. On the keypad identify:
o Positive=red wire
o Negative=black wire
o Common= purple wire
o Normally close= orange

15. Connect the normally close from the keypad to the common of the motion sensor

16. Connect the positive from the keypad to the positive from the transformer

17. Connect the negative from the keypad to the negative from the transformer

18. You should have the common( purple wire) free

19. On the push button identify :
o Normally close connection
o Common connection

20. Connect the common from the keypad to the normally close connector on the push button

21. Connect an extra piece of wire to the common connector on the push button,

22. On the magnetic lock identify:
o Positive = terminal 1
o Negative=terminal 2
o Normally open=terminal 3
o Normally close=terminal 4
o Common=terminal 5

23. Bring the wire from the common on the push button to the negative on the magnetic lock

24. Connect an extra piece of wire to the positive on the magnetic lock

25. Connect the wire from the positive on the magnetic lock to the positive on from the transformer.
o Now you should have a fully operational circuit!
o Connect the power supply and test all the components
